"Called in for a quick quote looking for a carpet, cheap and temporary, and needed a rough price (having looked a little online). I knew what to expect based on others' reviews. The manager is very straight to the point. I'm not so sure his prices are competitive, though, and I would advise people to shop around. He's old school, he says it as it is, and unfortunately it doesn't go hand in hand with some people. Still, I went in with an open mind and armed with other's experiences, I left, having not bought anything, and I won't return. (He added extra on to measurements when he didn't need to)."

"Id never normally leave a review like this but it's played on my mind Visited after previously using his services. He has become so rude and obnoxious towards paying customers. He speaks to people like they are stupid. As a customer for over 22 years I will never step foot in this place again. I understand the prices of everything have increased over the years but it's not actually the cost of the carpet that's the issue. Steve is abrupt, rude and very arrogant now. He used to bend over backwards to help his customers. So im assuming now he has so much money he doesnt need a small 2 up 2 down house to do. Infact he pretty much said he didn't. So on that note. If you want a polite friendly carpet supplier. Definitely look elsewhere. We ended up going to Mark Willingham on York Road. So we highly recommend him for communication. Politeness and effectiveness to be able to speak to women with respect."

"Great carpets at a great price. Had a Carpet supplied and fitted by Steve and his lads a couple of weeks ago, so glad I chose them. The shop is a carpet wonderland, so much to choose from. Lads were polite and bang on time. Much rather use a company like this than one of the bigger companies as you're getting great local service. Will be using them for the rest of the house when we get around to it. 5*+"

Tapped his calculator for 5 mins then gave me a price before I'd even had chance to look at any particular carpets 🤨 He spoke to the young lad working for him like muck, absolutely no need at all!! Went to Carpet Right and got a thicker carpet with delivery and fitting for cheaper than Steve's numbers."
