"I responded to an advert from Sterling Garden Rooms as we were considering a loft conversion or a garden room. I hadn’t heard of Sterling previously. Since that first contact, the experience has been absolutely brilliant. From an initial discussion about what we were looking for, through more detailed designs, exploration of different sizes and cladding options, Sterling, and Stefan in particular, worked with us to find a design that was right for our new home office. The 3D model that the team used was good to see and helped us to pick the right door, seeing the changes to that model in real time was extra useful. After agreeing the build date, all of the materials arrived on time, and the portaloo too! The team, led by James, were always prompt and friendly and immediately got to work on construction, making rapid progress. They left the site clean and tidy each day, and answered my many questions with patience. They demonstrated real enthusiasm for the project too, even though it was a relatively simple home office garden room. They offered me alternative options for little changes that made a difference too. Little details like retaining hooks for the double doors so we can open them flat against the front of the building without worrying that the wind will slam them shut. Simple, but nice value add. Plastering was completed by Ian ahead of schedule and a slightly more complex electrical hook up (with an armoured cable running the length of the house and garden) was completed cleanly by Jonny and Ryan. I think I can honestly say this experience was the best we’ve ever had with any construction trades. Everyone was positive and friendly and focused on keeping us happy. And we are happy. The product feels well constructed and meets our needs perfectly. Thank you Stefan, James, Ryan, Andrew and the whole team for building us a great room. We’re now on with decorating it!"
