"Appears to have done what we asked and responded quickly to our request, but communication is appalling and VERY expensive for what he did (£600 to repair a hole in the roof but was only on site less than an hour). I asked 3 times for him to give the time that he would be coming so I could let the tenant know - he didn’t bother. When he turned up he just started working - when the tenant challenged him he said he didn’t know anyone was in. Now, a week later and after asking 5 times, I am still waiting for a receipt, despite me paying same day and him promising to do it ‘today’ 3 days in a row. I wouldn’t recommend this company and will be looking for someone else to do the remainder of the work we need doing. EDIT: He did eventually send a receipt, although it is now very clear that I have been totally ripped-off on price."

"It’s rare these days to come across genuine tradespeople. I contacted Northeast Rooflines as we’ve had various problems with leaks which we’ve had repaired previously but still not resolved. They were very responsive and arranged to come out the following day (a Sunday afternoon) as we work weekdays. He explained what he thought the issues were and sent me a formal quote the same day. I told him I was getting other quotes and looking at maybe selling up as repair costs were escalating. He wasn’t in the least bit pushy and left it with me. Once we decided to go ahead I gave him a suitable date and he booked the job in. The lads turned up promptly and the whole job was completed quickly and efficiently with them explaining what they were doing and why. They did an excellent clean job leaving no mess. The work is fully guaranteed and they even checked in after the first rainfall to make sure the problem was fixed. So far so good. Great bunch of lads who I would highly recommend for any roofing jobs, big or small."
