"I visited this garage on two separate occasions and, based on those experiences, I will not be returning. On the first visit, I enquired about an air conditioning regas. Rather than offering a straightforward recharge, I was strongly steered towards a costly diagnostic route and then quoted close to £600 for further work. Given the age and value of the vehicle, and the fact that the system was still showing some cooling, this felt excessive for what I was looking for, which was simply a practical short-term solution. On the second visit, I returned with certified OEM parts for a water pump and auxiliary belt job. I was then told that they do not fit customer-supplied parts. That may well be their policy, and they are of course entitled to it. However, the manner in which this was communicated was dismissive and unnecessarily impersonal. And now I was also replayed that they did not know me and had never heard of me, despite my previous visit. My concern is not only their pricing or internal policy, but the general attitude shown towards a potential customer. Courtesy and professionalism cost nothing. On the basis of my experience, I would not recommend this garage."

"Had a puncture on my car this afternoon, managed to get to the garage at 2:30pm - upon arriving noticed that the business closed at 2:30pm on Saturdays. However, without any fuss or hesitation the staff on site were amazing, they resolved the issue for us within 30 mins - he recognised that we had 2 young children in the car and couldn’t leave us stranded, without doubt a fantastic act of kindness. "I’m so grateful to everyone at Lido for the amazing service they provide. It can be daunting approaching a garage when you have limited knowledge of cars, but they do a great job of making you feel comfortable and explaining what’s going on. My last car had a range of issues over the past couple of years and they were always open to exploring options and giving advice when asked. From the person who greets you as you arrive, to those who fix the car, to a time they did a complimentary freshen up and I was shown pics of a new puppy, they’re very friendly. The car also smelt lovely! I’ve since recommended to family and friends."
